Does anyone have any experience with these? Is it worth the effort to have a listen?

I havn't heard the T1, but opera is definitely getting a reputation for great gear at great prices

Hi Hippy,
I haven't had experience with that particular model, but I completely agree with what dlite said.
Have you looked at the Classic 9.0 tube pre-amp? It's about half the price.

Thanks guys, I'm going to wait until the rest of it is up before I change too much but one of these might be snuck in later on.

Try give Osbourne Loudspeakers a call, they're the local distrubutors. Maybe they can work something out for you, and allow you an in-home trial. The only way to try before you buy :)
Just had a look at the Cyber 222 preamp, and should be a better preamp in a more modern looking shell. Also valve rectified AND external transformers!

Just had a look, nice looking unit.
This is a dangerous hobby. The more I look the more I want :)
