I had finished externalising my Aurum Cantus cross overs the other day and went to listen to the system a couple of days later.
One channel faded down after about 5 seconds of music.
Thinking it was my recent handy work, I commenced to check it and quickly found that all was good here - thank goodness (what a mission that was)!
So, I found it was the amp and being a valve amp, it's pretty easy through process of elimination (changing left and right valves, etc) that it was my left hand pre-amp valve.
I have a Bewitch (Puresound) A30 with EH KT-88's and a host of juicy bits inside it to make it a real bargain.
Unfortunately, the pre valves are a cheap Chinese (they are cheap because they're cheap and not because they're Chinese) 6SN7 of sorts.
I picked up another pair from the seller of my amp quickly enough to get things running. All good again after a few days waiting for the mail.
In browsing for these valves I saw some EH 6SN7's for a pretty good price. I bid on and got these and waited whilst they came from The States.
Popped them in and even cold...wow!

Just wanted to share my first experience at rolling.
Might do the rectification and the other small ones next...
