Anyone know where I might be able to get a new group head gasket for a Krups XP4020 espresso machine?

best bet would be to contact KRUPS (http://www.krups.com/Tools/Contact/Contact.htm) and ask.

or here is the Australian agent

cheers John. They did provide me with a new seal but the machine is still leaking from somewhere else. Good excuse for an upgrade I reckon.

I've purchased KRUPPS devices before. They certainly look great and are stylish but their life expectancy is has proven to be 1 month after the warranty expires. A triumph of engineering!

I don't even consider KRUPPS anymore. Sunbeam may be the poor Aussie cousin but at least they work well past their warranty expiry period.

Acquired a second-hand Krups 4000 Novo Progromatic from a neighbourhood garage sale recently............

Best $50 I ever spent :D

Makes great coffee.

But it leaks from somewhere in the bottom (just clean water, so not a big issue) regularly.

I agree with you though..........that it's time for an upgrade...........

Our first coffee machine was a Krupps as well and several months after warranty expired the heater block dies. Sorry no parts we were told...
